Peninsula Trauma Centre
The Peninsula Trauma Centre (PTC) at Derriford Hospital (Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust) is the Major Trauma Centre for the whole of the Peninsula. PTC also provides services for Plymouth, East Cornwall and parts of South and West Devon. This gives it an immediate catchment of about 450,000 people, and a specialist population at risk of 2 million.
